Ayurvedic lifestyle and nutrition consultation
After eight years of studying and living Ayurveda, I am now studying it formally to become an Ayurvedic lifestyle and nutrition consultant under the guidance of Dr Vasant Lad.
I am inviting my well-wishers to help me with this study, as I restart my career in a direction that will become more relevant than the medical and pharmaceutical industries in the coming years.
Whether you are looking for general recommendations for supporting your mental and physical wellbeing or solutions for particular health issues, I would love to hear from you. Feel free to download the client intake form, fill it out and send it to me at DrMukta@weiss.io.
If you are comfortable, you can send in a picture of your face and your tongue as well.
Please do this only if you are open to Ayurveda and you are willing to commit at least two months to follow the recommendations to the best of your ability.
The information you provide on the form will be shared anonymously only with the faculty at AyurPrana, the institute I am doing the course with.
I will schedule a call with you once I receive your form. We will talk about how you feel within your body, your symptoms, any discomfort. We will also discuss under what circumstances or life events these issues started showing up, so it can get quite personal. It’s up to you to set the boundary for how much you talk about. Based on this call, I will give you some starting recommendations. More recommendations will be given over at least four weeks, depending on your progress and receptivity. Ideally, we will keep meeting every two weeks for half a year.
We are being taught to first provide guidance for lifestyle interventions and nutrition depending on your constitution and current imbalances. This is all that I will do in the first few sittings. Recommendations for herbs will come later.
The only herb I will recommend in the first sitting is Triphala, which you can start taking right now, if you’d like.
In the weekly calls over the next weeks, we will discuss how these interventions are going and whether there are any obstacles in implementing them. I will use my coaching skills to help you set goals and enable behaviour change as necessary.
As nutrition is the number one issue for Westernised populations these days, chances are this is what we will be talking about in detail.
If you would like, I can help you understand your health conditions from both Western medicine and Ayurvedic perspectives.
We can also talk about how Ayurveda understands the functioning of our bodies. This will enable you to find your own solutions and to be able to judge what to eat and what not to.
I am not here to diagnose or recommend any special herbal formulations, even those available without prescription online.
If you have advanced pathologies I will encourage you to see an Ayurvedic practitioner. I might also refer you to a program that enables your body to heal itself from within.
I will also share some product recommendations. No, not affiliate links, just products that I have used myself and love, or those from sources I trust.
Depending on your receptivity, I might refer to you other practitioners offering Vedic counselling services.
