I bring experience in the scientific approach to understanding health and in Ayurveda, together with coaching skills to facilitate optimal health. I can help you understand your body and any symptoms or diseases it has developed from a unique perspective.

We will discuss how you have been feeling, since when you have had the health issues, what was going on in your life when trouble started showing up. We will talk about the stage of life you are in, the symptoms and your diet and physical activity levels.

I offer one-to-one coaching based on Ayurvedic principles. The six-month program involves:

  • A 90 minute introductory call to discuss your health concerns. After this call, I will give you some personalised recommendations by email. I might also refer you to Ayurvedic doctors or Ayurveda-based healing programs.
  • 1 hour calls every week for 7 weeks. During these calls, I will help you develop the behaviours necessary to enhance your health. I will also help you get started with specific yoga or pranayama practices as necessary. Remember, any supplements and medicines can only work as well as your body is able to utilise them, so in the first two months, we will stay away from any supplements except Triphala. These months are the time to detox your body and align it with nature.
  • At the start of week 9, we will introduce some supplements and more advanced yoga and breathing practices. When appropriate, and based on how receptive you are, I might suggest some solutions from Vastu as well.
  • After that, we can talk for 1 hour every 2 weeks for 6 months. This will ensure that you can ask any questions about your healing journey and are able to stick to the changes you would like to make in your behaviour. We can continue on if you’d like.
  • All along, I will be available by email to address your concerns.

Key deliverables:

  • You will learn how to harness the power of nature to enable your body to heal itself
  • You will learn how toxins and parasites enter your body and how to prevent that.
  • You will learn yoga and pranayama practices tailored to your needs.

Essentials for our journey together:

  1. I expect you to take responsibility. I am there just to hold your hand and guide you. For your healing journey to be successful, it is important that you also do your bit, not just in implementing my recommendations, but also doing a bit of study on the body, on Ayurveda and other traditional healing systems. I will share many resources with you and also expect you to do your own research.
  2. Look at the ‘reset your body, reset your life’ challenge and see how much you can do.
  3. Read about the daily routine (dinacharya) as recommended by Ayurveda and reflect on what you would like to incorporate in your everyday routine.
  4. I recommend a vegetarian diet. Some milk and home-made paneer (not cheese!) is ok. I recommend increasing the amount of fruit and salads. What time of the day you eat is also important.
  5. If you must eat meat, prefer fish and chicken. Red meat is best bought fresh (not frozen), organic and pasture-raised.
  6. Self care is very important: I will introduce you to massage that you can do yourself. Depending on your health issues, I will recommend some acupressure points as well.
  7. Please find a trained professional in your vicinity and get them to come at least once a week. Massage is not a luxury. It helps in detoxifying the body.
  8. I highly encourage you to avoid using store bought soap and shampoo. Here’s a recipe for making soap at home (link). You can use besan mixed with water for showering and reetha (soap nut) for cleaning your hair. Coconut or sesame oil work very well for cleaning teeth.
  9. Your illness took a few decades to manifest, it will also take time to show signs of reversal. My goal is to set you on the path of recovery by enabling health-promoting behaviour.
  10. All along, I will expect you to keep a diary of your experiences every day. You should also keep a diary of what you ate and how you felt afterwards. These are just for your records and are absolutely critical if you’d like to make progress.
  11. Most of us are very far away from optimal health, optimal way of living and optimal food intake. That is why the only program I offer is a six-month transformation journey, which can be extended if you would like. Being on this journey with me, you will become better able to weather the storms that life can bring. Yes, even health issues will come, but you will be in a better state of mind and physical strength to bear them. And you will probably not die in a hospital.
