Ranveer ji, you touched my heart talking about Biji ki panjiri, dadi ka jadu. Listening to you, I was transported to my childhood days in Delhi.

So many Bijis (grandmother in Punjabi) have fed me panjiri, dhaniye ka prasad, baingan ka bharta, chholiye ki tari wali sabzi, halwa-poori and kale chane. All because I happened to be around. No special reason. Come and eat, they would say.

They fed me with so much love, as if I was their own grandchild.

I loved it then, but I appreciate it so much more now, understanding why so many Bijis were living in Delhi…

Even as a small child I could see that their life was a struggle. There was pain. There was total uncertainty about how the coming generations would live. Even in those conditions, they managed to create joyful moments for themselves and their families.

Now, coming to the point: Because you have such a huge following, lots of people will listen if you tell them how they can make their meals healthier.

One example is using jaggery or desi khand instead of crystal sugar. Another obvious example is making paneer at home, instead of buying it from the shops.

I am sure you are aware of these issues and many more ways people can make their meals healthier. Please share them with your viewers!
