You will need:

  • 2 tbsp Ragi flour
  • 2 tbsp ghee
  • Milk as needed
  • Add cashews, or soaked almonds
  • Jaggery or coconut sugar or dates
  • Cinnamon or nutmeg, optional

Steps

  1. Put 1 tbsp ghee in a small saucepan on very low heat.
  2. Add Ragi flour and roast for a few minutes.
  3. Add milk as needed. The Ragi will absorb the milk and the porridge will thicken. Add more milk if necessary. Let it come together slowly on low heat.
  4. Add soaked almonds or cashews, your sweetener of choice and any aromatic spices if using.
  5. Transfer to your bowl and add another tablespoon of ghee.
