Essential exercises for every day that everyone can and should do
Our bodies are a gift. They are incredible instruments that perform miraculous functions without us even being aware of them. In my opinion, it is our primary responsibility to look after our physical and mental health at all stages of life. As we age, it is even more critical that we do our best to support the functioning of our bodies. We owe it to ourselves and to our loved ones.
- Kegel exercises: I don’t remember seeing adult incontinence pads when I was a child. Now, they are everywhere. Well, you know what that means. That means that you must incorporate Kegel exercises in your daily routine.
- Deep breathing exercises. Just start and do it regularly.
- Walking: Walk as much as possible - at your own pace. Even better, walk fast. You should get tired.
- Gentle swaying neck, shoulder, spine and hip movements for at least 10 minutes a day. These movements stimulate the Vagus nerve.
